Almond SandiesRecipe : Almond Sandies
Procedure :
1 cup butter or margarine -- softened 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon almond extract 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup slivered almonds In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add extract; mix well. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Fold in almonds. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 300 degrees for 22-24 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1-2 |
