Apple Brunch CakeRecipe : Apple Brunch Cake
Procedure :
Judy Garnett 1 Pkg Butter Golden Cake Mix * 3 Large eggs 1 Stick butter; or marg. 2/3 c Water 4 Apples; pared; sliced (4 C.) 3 tb Sugar 4 ts Ground cinnamon Confect. sugar; as needed Please note: * This recipe calls for a Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Golden Cake Mix. Preheat oven to 375 deg. Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan. Combine dry cake mix; eggs, butter and water in large mixer bowl. Mix cake as directed on package. Turn 2/3 of the batter into pan. Toss apples with sugar and cinnamon. Spoon over batter in pan. Spread remaining batter over apples. Bake at 375 deg. for 45 to 50 mins. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 25 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on rack. Sprinkle cooled cake with confectioners' sugar. Judy Garnett/pjxg05a Duncan Hines. ----- |
