Buttermilk-Cheese LoafRecipe : Buttermilk-Cheese Loaf
Procedure :
2 cups flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons dry mustard 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1 cup buttermilk 1/4 cup oil 2 eggs In large bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, mustard, salt, and cheese; set aside. Beat buttermilk, oil, and eggs with rotary beater until well blended; add all at once to flour mixture and mix just until moist. Pour into greased 9" by 5" by 3" loaf pan and bake at 375? about 45-50 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert on rack and cool. |
